Both Babbel’s app-based lessons and Disney Animation’s film, “Encanto” celebrate the journey to self-discovery and capture the magic of language in exploring worlds beyond our own front door.

Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto” tells the tale of an extraordinary family, the Madrigals, who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia, in a magical house, in a charmed place called an Encanto. The magic of the Encanto has given every child in the family a unique gift, from super strength to the power to heal—every child except one, Mirabel (voice of Stephanie Beatriz). But when she discovers that the magic surrounding the Encanto is in danger, Mirabel decides that she, the only ordinary Madrigal, might just be her exceptional family’s last hope. In theatres now, the film features all-new songs by Emmy®, GRAMMY® and Tony Award® winner Lin-Manuel Miranda (“Hamilton,” “Moana”) and is directed by Jared Bush (co-director “Zootopia”) and Byron Howard (“Zootopia”, “Tangled”), co-directed by Charise Castro Smith (writer “The Death of Eva Sofia Valdez”), and produced by Yvett Merino and Clark Spencer; Castro Smith and Bush are screenwriters on the film.
The global campaign runs in the US from November 17 to December 12, 2021 and from November 23 to December 13, 2021 in Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Switzerland and Germany. The global campaign will be hosted on television and digital platforms in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France and Italy and the campaign will be exclusively digital in Germany and Switzerland.
